Vijay Basdeo is an international lecturer, seminar leader and trainer in personal development, motivation, creativity and sales. She has been a trainer and counselor in the field of human development and self-transformation since 1985.

President and Director of InnerLink Training Seminars Ltd., Vijay has traveled extensively around the world and has taught in Sweden, Canada, and the Caribbean.

Vijay's interest and participation with the First Nations Traditions began in 1987 with her introduction to the Sweat Lodge Ceremony and the Sundance. She has been involved ever since with the community and has been an active participant and supporter of these two ceremonies since then. She has recently trained in Strategic Planning and Leadership for Aboriginal Non Profit Society at Native Education College, Vancouver, and Suicide Prevention Training for Aboriginal Youth, VAFCS offered at the Vancouver Aboriginal Friendship Centre.
